Transitional Kindergarten
This message is to make Tustin Unified families aware of a new program, beginning in the 2012-13 school year. Transitional Kindergarten is a new program for children who will turn 5 years old between November 2st and December 2nd of 2012. Transitional Kindergarten is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program. Enrollment for Transitional Kindergarten is now open. Registration information and enrollment packets are available at your home school of attendance. Information about this new program is also available on Tustin Unified School District website, under transitional kindergarten.
Furlough Days
A FURLOUGH DAY HAS BEEN RESTORED TO THE 2011-12 SCHOOL CALENDAR! All students in the Tustin Unified School District will attend school on May 25, 2012. Please note the change on your calendar.

Box Tops Contest
t's time to get cutting and save those Box Tops! Box Tops for Education is a fun and easy way to help support Arroyo! All you have to do is clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of family products like Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex® and more! Simply cut those Box Tops put them in a baggie or on a collection sheet. Be sure to put your student's/teacher's name on it. Then turn them in!
Each month, classes will compete to collect the most Box Tops. The top two winning classrooms will win a Popsicle Party. At the end of the year, there will be a grand prize given for the classroom that has collected the most Box Tops throughout the year.
